Round 1: Chain 2. 3SC into the 2nd ch from the hook.
Round 2: Chain 1 and turn. Place 1 SC in each stitch (3 sts).
Round 2: Chain 1 and turn. Place 1 SC in each stitch (3 sts).
Round 3: Chain 1 and turn. Place 2SC in the 1st stitch, 1SC into the next stitch, and 2SC into the last stitch (5 sts).
Round 4: Chain 1 and turn. Place 1 SC in each stitch (5 sts).
Round 5: Chain 1 and turn. Place 2SC in the 1st stitch, 1SC into the next 3 stitches, and 2SC into the last stitch (7 sts).
Round 6: Chain 1 and turn. Place 1 SC in each stitch (7 sts).
Round 7: Chain 1 and turn. Place 2SC in the 1st stitch, 1SC into the next 5 stitches, and 2SC into the last stitch (9 sts).
Round 8: Chain 1 and turn. Place 1 SC in each stitch (9 sts).
Round 9: Chain 1 and turn. Place 2SC in the 1st stitch, 1SC into the next 7 stitches, and 2SC into the last stitch (11 sts).
I am making a size small, so now I will be doing the repeat rows for the middle. If you’re making a different size refer to the size charts below.
Round 10-13: Chain 1 and turn. Place 1 SC in each stitch (11 sts).
For size small, you will begin decreasing at this point.
Round 14: Chain 1 and turn. SC2TG, SC until there’s 2 stitches remaining, and SC2TG (9 sts)
Round 15: Chain 1 and turn. Place 1 SC in each stitch (9 sts).
Round 16: Chain 1 and turn. SC2TG, SC until there’s 2 stitches remaining, and SC2TG (7 sts)
Round 17: Chain 1 and turn. Place 1 SC in each stitch (7 sts).
Round 18: Chain 1 and turn. SC2TG, SC until there’s 2 stitches remaining, and SC2TG (5 sts)
Round 19: Chain 1 and turn. Place 1 SC in each stitch (5 sts).
Round 20: Chain 1 and turn. SC2TG, 1-SC, and SC2TG (3 sts)
Round 21: Chain 1 and turn. Place 1 SC through all 3 stitches. Almost like a SC2TG, but all 3 stitches.
Border:
Round 1: Chain 1 and turn. Work along the top of the cup, placing 1-SC in the end of each row of the cup.
Round 2: Chain 1 and turn. SC in every stitch across.
Repeat Round 2 for a total of 8 Rows. This is the height of the cup so if you want more coverage you can add more rows.
Now you will work the border along the bottom of the cup.
At the end of your last row: Turn your work and continue to SC evenly along the bottom of the cup; along the bottom and back up to the opposite corner of the border you just made.
Round 1: Chain 1 and turn. SC in every stitch along the bottom border.
Round 2: Chain 1 and turn. SC in every stitch along the bottom border. Tie Off. You’re cup is done! Use these cups to create your own bralette, top, or bikini.
