Color Block Hoodie Amigurumi





NOTES: 
-Ch 1 in the beginning of SC rows doesn't count as a stitch.
-Ch 2 to begin DC rows, doesn't count as a stitch

*Pattern is worked in the round, so do not turn at the end of the row unless stated otherwise

Body:

  1. CH 26, SLST to the first chain to form a circle.
  2. CH 2 and DC around. SLST to first stitch. (26)
  3. Ch 2 and DC around. SLST to 1st stitch. (26)
  4. Ch 2 and DC around. SLST to 1st stitch. (26)
  5. Ch 2 and DC around. SLST to 1st stitch. (26)
  6. Ch 2 and DC around. SLST to 1st stitch. (26)
  7. Ch 2 and DC into the next 6, ch3, skip 3 st, DC into the next 8, ch3, skip 3 st, DC until the end of the round. SLST to 1st stitch- this has created the armholes
  8. Ch 2. (DC 3, DEC)* - when you come to the arm hole crochet into the chains. SLST and tie off.
  9. Attach yellow yarn to the bottom and SC along the bottom to add the bottom ribbing.

Hoodie:

  1. Attach Yellow Yarn in the front and ch 2- off centered (see picture) you're going to leave a gap of 3 stitches in the front FLO (DC3, INC)* Stop when there are 3 stitches left. DO NOT JOIN. ch 2 and TURN. 
  2. DC across. Ch 2 and turn
  3. DC across. Ch 2 and turn
  4. DC across. Ch 2 and turn.
  5. DC into the next 13 stitches (halfway). Ch 2 and turn.
  6. DEC, DC across. Ch 2 and turn
  7. DC until there's 2 stitches left, DEC. ch 2 and turn.
  8. DEC, DC across. Ch 1 and turn.
  9. SC across. FO leave tail to sew the back closed. 
REPEAT ROWS 5-9 on the other side of hood, Join your yarn at the front of the hood.FO, leave long tail for sewing the hood closed. Use the 2 tails to Sew the top and back of hood together .


 



Arms:

Join your yarn along one of the arm holes- in the armpit

. 
Arms are worked in the round. Do not turn at the end of the row.

SC evenly around the armhole. SLST to the 1st st to join.
  2. ch 2 and DC around. SLST to the 1st stitch
  3. Repeat # 2
  4. Repeat # 2
  5. Repeat # 2
  6. CH 1 and (SC,DEC) around. Tie off
